B11_#120 // The Vestibule // Olivier Jauniaux
A vestibule is a place of transition; a Parallax space that refers to those to which it leads whilst never being the destination itself. It is program-less space, and its function is ever changing. How do we make the vestibule the destination? What transitional spaces would allow us to enter it?
Enter the Meta-Vestibule:
The self-referring typology, stacking within itself endlessly until a central focal point like Russian nesting dolls, is raised on a low plinth. Each iteration is raised a little further forcing a continuous assent to the central program-less void. Then, you leave.
