This vestibule focuses on the purpose of the porch in the near future. Antiquated housing is retrofitted with ETFE attachments to help improve their energy rating and insulation efficiency. These vestibules also form part of a newly emerging typology for architectural accessories. Stringent future planning laws may require constantly adaptive and temporary technologies to bring old dwellings up to ‘current’ building regulation standards, whilst not affecting or permanently altering in anyway the historic composition of a property.
