The physical items exchanged in the visitor’s shift from the entrance to the ambiguous interior space, are held within the Archive of Transition. From high heels to walking poles, the archive absorbs the transitional items, as it ascertains the modern and classical collision of the Vestibule. These items are the visitors’ temporary contribution to the collection, before they pass over the unknown threshold. The space provides a moment of reflection and pause as they prepare. When the visitor returns to the space to depart, they reclaim their transitional identity and exit into the fluctuating realm beyond.
