#088 Concept Capsule

CUBES

B8_#088 // The Studio // Ema Hana Kacar

This proposal aims to create an autonomous architect’s studio that supports the exchanging of ideas, and breaks loose from the concept of ownership.

The internal walls of the capsule are molded in a way that enables the architect to switch between different stages of the design process with a simple twist – the walls then transition from an ‘ideas wall’ to a drafting table, or even a model-building surface.

If used by an individual, it enables him to access all areas of a typical architect’s studio while remaining completely static – and, if used by a team of people, it enables an easy exchange of ideas and forces the team to work in sync.
